Welcome to Amsterdam, also called Venice of the North for its beautiful romantic canals and great historical architecture. The city offers breathtaking sights, a never ending nightlife, museums, art, shopping and great business opportunities.
Hotel Damrak-inn is a charming two-star hotel located on Amsterdams main road Damrak. In front of the hotel you will find the Beurs van Berlage the world’s first stock-exchange and also the world famous canal boats, ready to show you our beautiful city.
The hotel is located on a 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam central station. The citys main bus and tram stop is in front of the station
Within five minutes you can reach all of Amsterdams famous attractions, such as the Rijksmuseum, the van Gogh museum, the House of Anne Frank and the Heineken brewery. Several payable public car parking garages are on a 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
All our rooms offer private shower and toilet, colour cable television, direct-dial telephone and a private safe.
The reception desk is located on the first floor. Our young and helpful receptionists are on duty from 08.00 until 24.00. After midnight the night porter will provide you with your room-key and answers any questions you may have.
In the morning from 07.00 until 10.00 the hotel offers the guests a free continental breakfast buffet in a restaurant near to the hotel, that includes different kinds of juices, coffees and teas.

From the Airport:
Amsterdam Schiphol, Europes largest airport, is your gateway to Amsterdam. The train is the most convenient form of transportation from the airport. The station is clearly marked and located in Schiphol Plaza at the center of the airport. Tickets to Amsterdam Centraal Station (one way 2nd class 3.10 EUR) can be conveniently purchased with a credit card at the yellow ticket booths or at the Dutch Railways ticket counter (3.60 EUR).
A taxi is approx. 32 EUR per person.
From the Railway Station:
Amsterdam Centraal Station is within walking distance - just 300 meters/yards. Exit the central station from its main entrance. With the station building behind you, keep to the right. Cross the bridge, then cross the road at the traffic lights and you will find yourself in the pedestrian section of Damrak, Amsterdams main street, lined with cafés and just a few steps away from your comfortable bed at Hotel Damrak-inn.
By Car:
You don’t really need a car in Amsterdam, as most attractions are in walking/biking distance and public transport is reliable and runs until late at night. Traffic in Amsterdam can be difficult, like in many cities, and parking is expensive. In our neighbourhood you can park for 3.60 EUR per hour, and there are parking that offer 24 hours for 36 EUR.

If you need to cancel a reservation, please note that:
a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
